Winton Renewable Energy Stability and Storage Terminal

The Winton Renewable Energy Stability and Storage Terminal (WRESST) is a major large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) development.

WRESST is being developed as a joint development with Celero, and is a 400MWac / 1,600MWh BESS development project located near Winton and Glenrowan, approximately 10 km northeast of Benalla in Victoria, adjacent to the Glenrowan Terminal Station.

The project was originated by Celero Infrastructure, which lodged its development application in June 2026 and acquired by Palisade Investment Partners (Palisade) in September 2026.
